David embodies the core values of our firm, combining legal acumen with a client-centric approach. David Talpeș is one of our firm’s co-managing partners. He has more than 10 years of experience of practicing general civil and commercial law, with emphasis on company law, litigation, contracts, debt recovery. He also has relevant experience in labour and administrative law.
During his years of activitiy he assisted and represented Romanian and international clients active in various fields such as agriculture, real estate, air transport, industrial production, trade and distribution, pharmaceutical industry, renewable energy. Among the projects he worked on are company mergers and acquisitions, internal employment restructuring, recovery of large insurance debt portfolios, legal assistance in greenfield renewable energy projects. Also, various types of civil, commercial and administrative litigation, and commercial arbitration.
He has been described by clients as a trustworthy person and a reliable professional, with a remarkable ability to process intricate legal issues while maintaining a practical approach. His orientation towards simple solutions and his excellent multilingual communication skills have made him a trusted advisor to our clients.

Roxana Talpeș is a co-managing partner of our firm.
With over 10 years of experience in the field of law, Roxana’s focus on private law allowed her to navigate diverse and complex legal landscapes, providing assistance to individuals and businesses in areas such as insurance law, company law, contracts and labour law. Additionally, she has particular expertise in Competition Law and cases regarding unfair competition practices, and also human rights, succesfully conducting projects against public institutions to compensate damages resulting from the failure to fulfill legal obligations as per the Romanian Constitution or the ECHR.
Roxana graduated the Faculty of Law at UBB Babeș Bolyai Cluj-Napoca, where she also attended the Master’s program in “European and National Business Law”.
As a curious mind and creative individual, Roxana is highly commited to solve every particular case with a fresh and thorough approach, prioritizing effective communication and building strong connections with clients from all over the world.

Larisa Cobza is an associate lawyer of our firm, a member of the Cluj Bar Association and a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Babeș-Bolyai University.
Her main strengths are: analytical thinking, attention to detail, perseverance and dedication in her work.
Larisa’s areas of practice include: urban planning law, commercial law, civil law, civil enforcement, administrative litigation and public procurement.
Her work mainly consists of providing legal advice in pre-contractual negotiations or in situations requiring legal expertise in the day-to-day activities of companies or other private law entities, as well as providing legal assistance and representation in dispute resolution.

Benő Loránd is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. During his university studies, he attended the “Martin Luther” University of Halle-Wittenberg, where he studied the fundamentals of German law for one semester and improved his German language skills. Afterwards he attended the Master’s programme in Criminal Law and Forensic Sciences at Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Law.
Loránd has been working for SCPA Talpeș since the beginning of his career as a lawyer at the Cluj Bar. His main areas of practice include insurance law, insolvency proceedings, property law disputes and criminal law.
Loránd is a Hungarian native speaker and also speaks German and English at an advanced level, which contributes to the ease of communication with the firm’s clients.

Simona Oniu is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of “Babeș Bolyai” University and a lawyer at the Cluj Bar.
Her work focuses mainly on civil litigation, especially in the field of enforcement, debt recovery, insurance and labour law.
Perseverance and commitment are the principles that guide her in the management of any legal matter. Results-oriented and passionate about law, she deals with legal challenges in her professional activity with rigour and probity.
